i just bought the hummer for my dad for fathers day and i was wondering what is the top speed on this thing and can you make them go faster

Uhh I think the top speed stock is around 8-10 mph, and yea go to RS and there is tons of upgrades after that get some aftermaket stuff. On this forum a dude made his gen1 cobra go around 80-90mph. But that takes TONS

the top speed is ruffly 12 mph but i would suggest getting a stage 2 motor upgrade for it if u want more speed. for the hummer there is a bodykit, u can get a truck drop kit, a offroad upgrade kit, 4wd upgrade (might be a little tricky for beginners), um metal bearing upgrade, command logic head and tail lights as well as neons, and some other stuff. but if u want to get upgrade for remember to look in the top right cornor of the box and make sure it says "for xmod evolution TRUCKS" oh yea and the screwdriver is crap that it came with so if your radio shack has the tool kit i would deffinently get that but if they dont i would still get a better screwdriver because the one it comes with will almost deffinently stripe the screws

well the top speed on a car is more like 14-15mph but it may be diffrent with a truck

Dude that is bull They arent faster than 10 mph stock maybe goin down hill but no they arent

well i bought both of the tool kits that they had one has the magnifing glass and the other has the screwdrivers and little drill tips

if you want a little more speed, invest in the stage 2 motor upgrade(http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search) and to make the car run a little smoother, I would invest in the bearings upgrade (http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search). You should have no problem finding the motor upgrade, however the bearing upgrade may be sort of hard to find. If your local Radio Shack does not have the bearing upgrade in stock, they will search in the data base and try to find one for you. By the way welcome to the site. yea there is a one for zipzaps that has the magnifying glass but the one with the hand drills is the xmods one

so he can not use the zipzap one for the xmod

oh yea thats still cool tho arent they like $1 anyways???but the closest RS ner me that has the xmods toolkit is 20 miles away

yeah it was like .97 cents and the lady said they will work for the hummer so i bought it and then i went to another rs and i found the other kit with the drills and stuff for 5 bucks so i bought that too well i geuss it is good they will both work for the hummer
