FETs are really only used for running a stronger motor
some downsides are they're a ***** to install
if you really want FETs go with a v.2 board. it looks easy to install and you dont have to worry as much about saudering

carbon fiber drive shafts are reasonable( I have one in three of my xmods and it didn't make hardly any noticable difference at all), and I can't remember, but I think bypassing the on/off switch (I think that is what you bypass...lol) will give it a little power, the tut is somewhere on here forgot exactlly where though. That is a pretty cheap upgrade I'd say. Other than upgraded batteries and a more powerful motor, that is about it I think. Good Luck
