This is a fairly common problem with the side skirts.

On most kits I have found that the front plastic mount for the skirts is to big, you need to file it down to stop the flipping you describe above.

lolxz. is my Lancer the only one that didn't have this problem with any of the body kit peices? I remember My friends was the same. I filed it down and did a two-tone black and stock gray paint job on it for him.

good luck

Bro.

Mine is ok...the only problem I've had with the wide body kit is the rear panels didn't stay flush to the body so you could tell there was something on top of the body rather than it be smooth and flow well. So i just super glued the rear panels; that's the only issue I've had.

I guess since Xmods are plastic they're not all perfect.

My lancer did not have any problems with it rubbing at all, however like civicguy, the rear panels are not staying flush with the body. MC4L, when did you get a lancer?

Like I said earlier...you should try a lil super glue and just put a clothes pin to hold it down for about an hour. You only need a tiny bit along the edges but if you get too much you can always scrape it off with your fingers or some sort of tool that won't hurt the body of the car.

Me too that's why I got two lancers cuz I couldn't decide either. I don't like the stock front bumper though...it doesn't even look like the real lancer bumper. The only thing I don't like is the headlights on the mild kit.

Yeah it's the EVO VIII MR, but that's the thing the features on the front really don't match up with the ones in real life. Iono it looks of to me...but then again it's prolly just me LOL
