Motor Upgrade!!
ok. i'm going through forums and whatnot, and i come across this motor upgrade that sounds GOOD. it's the spinbrush motor magnet upgrade. you install the mags from that motor to your xmod motor. my question is; can i install the magnets in the stage 2 w/o fet upgrades? basically, can i do the upgrade and keep my circuit board stock??? i HATE doing fet upgrades. i'd gladly pay anyone 50 dollars to do it for me. i just want to know. by the way, on another note, i finished my mustang and it hauls! 7 cell upgrade w/ stage 2 and some sort of turbo app. it's a capacitor that generates more power at a certain point in acceleration. don't ask me how it works i just soldered it in conjuction to my power wire and WOW!

i did it and the motor has an rpm of 65k... more than twice the original s2 motor

this might sound like a dumb question but whats the easist way to get a stage 2 motor open to put the magnets in without damaging the motor?

 !!! But can musclecars4life or someone answer the other part of the question, because I've been wondering about this too, first how do you get the motor apart, and second, can you use the stock FETs with the stronger magnets?

yes you can use the stock FETS with the spinbrush motor and I posted a link to a tut on the whole upgrade somewhere on this site, good luck findind it!!!
