Default Rear wheel drive mod

if you put glue in the blue gear/axle would it take off faster or transfer more power

Yes, its called a lock differential. Locked diff transfer more power.

there are some ways of doing it and tutorials somewhere around here.. check the "modification" section or "tutorials" section

i put some super glue in it and man does it help with speed and power but it broke the two linkages...spelling?

linkages aka Dogbones. Invest in some aluminum ones. They sell on ebay for around 6 shipped. Pretty worth it if you ask me

ha yes, i was gonna do that just need to get them. but its handy to have a locked diff. easier to get unstuck. smoked a brand new R8 off the line while having 2 extra AAA's in the body to power the LED's

it was stock, i raced him with full body, chassis, and extra batteries and he raced only chassis

i had 2 AAA's tucked into the body to run the extra LED's. but with the locked diff alot more power reaches the wheels and just kills everything off the line. but with the added weight of the AAA's and the body i still owned him even though he was racing just with the chassis

since somebody has brought it up.. Would it do any good to lock both diffs on a four wheel drive? I race the car circuit and drift..

It would help drifting, since all wheels are spinning at the same speed all the time. Not circuit, as your steering circle will be wider which won't exactly be good.
