Default Beginner Upgrades

Hey guys, im looking to get some beginner performance upgrades for my gen 1 rsx and/or civic. I just scored an awd kit off ebay for it and i need some metal bearings i think....maybe a new cf drive shaft? i'm a bit confused. all i have now is some RS upgrades, like the stage 2 motors gears, etc. Please let me know what i should upgrade first (links would be appreciated) and what to continue to shoot for. o, and i forgot to mention, im shooting for a drifter. thanks in advance

If you are going for drift, you will need to stick with the stock motor to start out with. When you can control the car with the stage 1 motor, then you can step up to the stage 2 motor. You will need to get the metal bearing upgrade for the car, and then it wouldnt hurt to get a cf driveshaft as well. It is a good thing that you got the awd kit, because that is a MUST HAVE for successful drifting starting out.

lithium ion batteries are far more efficient then the batteries you have. they boost your performance up to 50%. That is a must have upgrade for power seekers.

I have alot of gen one stuff for sale and I bet you paid like 20 bucks shipped for the AWD which is a rip off I get them for 5 bucks at RS and sell them for 10 shipped. if you need gen one bearings I have them too along with pretty much anything you may need.

Just get basics for now.
Dont upgrade everything at once and then assume youll be able to handle it. I did that and I didnt know what I got into. You already got a main thing out of the way which is AWD. Try to get bearings next, then shoot for a CF shaft, alloy axles and alloy heat sink. Then go from there and work your way up to going fast!
Just dont get Lithium and all the those crazy fast motors yet...

right now I am waiting on RS to cal me and tell me when the parts are arriving. if you guys had been here sooner you could of put an order in for part of the box of 30 I got about five months ago. recently I ordered like 30 evo bearings kits, 76 gen 1 ones, 30 truck lift kits, and what ever was left of the gne one AWDs also, which was like three.
