seeing how its your first gen1, i recommend installing a tight turn mod. it really makes the car that much more fun.
when i bought my first xmod when they first came out, i was about to throw it in the garbage. it took 7 square miles to complete a circle.. lol

well not quite 7, more like 4! :P

well if you weren't going to switch it all the time I would suggest just melting the tabs in place with a hobby knife and lighter. otherwise just live with it.

Nice ride!

Definitely get the tight turns kit fitted it makes the gen1's so much better! Word of warning thought, get the inline resistor tight turns kit as opposed to the onboard kit! The onboard kit is like soldering a pin head to a gnats a$$!! Unless your soldering skills rock in which case get the onboard!

Other than that put AWD in it and you should be rocking!

As for the body kit, this is a common problem with a few of the body kits! You have to kind of bend the kit and apply some pressure and it should snap in! The body kits have some play so don't be scared but with a bit of work you should be good!

Enjoy the car!

Deattach the rear deck, then flip the over. you should see 2 screws that connect the rear end to the chassis. Take the 2 apart and make sure to deattach the motor wire. take out to driveshaft and then you should be able to take out the blevel gear. **** thats one Z you got there btw. How much did you pay for it anyways?

does it need bearings? I also have AWDs too if you need one. I agree with RED stock is better. and use the first wing you put on it on the scion.
