dude, you can't compare a kyosho mini-z to an xmod. the mini's are made to be hobby grade. the xmods are made to be kiddie grade.

The car might turn better, but the truck is so wide in the turning... The Steering servo is weaker in the Evo's...

I know man. I have mini z's I know they are completely different. Just using them to compare. On my gen 1 the turning radis is just horrible. I was wondering if the evo was any better.

Xmod's Japanese counterpart? Dumbarse....

Xmods are "Clones" or cheap copies of Mini-Z's. Mini-Z's are Hobby Grade (meaning they don't suck) RC Cars, same size as xmods. They full outperform the xmods line, work better, and are slightly faster.

Below are the diffrent types:

MR-01 and the MR-015 are basicly the same, cheapest, and lowest performing. Still perform better and a xmod....

MR-02 is a RWD car. Independtend front suspension, solid axel (ball-diff) rear, but can be tuned with flex plates, dampers, and springs. Track car. Outhandles xmods..

MA010 aka AWD is a AWD Mini-Z kingpin suspension all around. Still out handles the xmods.

i'm selling some stuff on ebay right now, lol so I can get a AWD Skyline! Got to build the perfect garage Racer. I got a MR-01 But the rear wheel drive just sucks for dusty concrete. My xmod handle great is is fast. I love it buy want to get something that turns and handles alittle better. I figure the only way to go is AWD Mini Z. I can't wait.

Xmods' Japanese big brother should be an apt description.

IMO, Gen 1 + 3.3k resistor mod gives far better steering than an Evo. Sweed got one thing right, the Evo's steering servo motor is weak and slow.

I'm generally right. It's deluded, but Mini-Z's aren't really a Jap. Brother. More like a father.
