Painting an AE86 Trueno
I'm thinking of getting an unpainted AE86 Trueno body to fit it over my Evo chassis, what do I have to do and I'm going to model it after Initial D's AE86, should a more glossier look be applied or more flatter look?

If you bothered to read his post, he's modeling it after Initial D's 86. The only car I can thing of in Initial D thats red is that EG6 Civic. The 86 in Initial D was a panda Trueno. Black+white.

I have no knowledge of Initial D characters and their vehicles, but it getting annoying listening to you guys talking about it. Stay on topic or this thing gets locked up... Later, RedSXmodder |

Whats wrong with them answering my questions so I dont have to make another thread to fill the **** General Section with questions. I'm asking for an alternative - where can I get a Panda colored AE86 Trueno and NissanShift answered it. So whats your deal now?

SHHHHHH. Anyhow, the original question was glossy or flat. The Initial D AE86 is a daily driver but clean, so think "slightly glossy". I take it you have all the reference pictures you need from Google, so this should be easy for you. I'm in the middle of semi-replicating Tsuchiya's TRD AE86 (I have my own taste buds too) so we're kinda in the same boat.

We're kinda on the same boat, except I have never painted an object in my entire 13 years of life in which I intend on
1. Apply white base 2. Mask off the whites and spray on the black parts 3. I dont know how to paint the orange light thingy on the side(i'm colorblind if i'm wrong) part so I'm prob gona leave that out or paint it black 4. Apply mounting stuff and put it on xmods.. >_< hope i'm not too far off of what i'm suppost to do |
