they look cool. I think they are like the Iwavers. I have an Iwaver and the quality is alright. At that price, I wouldnt hesitate at least ordering one to find out how they run. Someone on one of these forums had done a recent review on one. Look around for it. I thought it was a cool review with pictures and all.

they don't look that bad for the money you would spend on them and they look they are relativly upgradeable... which is always a good thing if you want to make it perfom better then what it is just out of the box.

yeah! Its an awesome low-cost transmitter! I believe the beginner branded Duratrax radio controlled models (they're hobby-grade) used to sell their RTRs with Futaba Magnums. Not sure what they offer now though.

I think its similar to an iWaiver, but with a MUCH better quality radio system.

You could probably buy a Futaba 3PK ($600) later or a Ko Propo EX-10 Helios ($550) radio system with a Mini-Z module later on if its electronics are hobby grade like those on Mini-Zs!

i think they made it o comete with xmods.... i know it sounds dumb but now kids like me can get a mini-z type chassis and upgrade to be like a mini z.insted of buying a 140 doller car we can buy 50 doller ones.

ok I went and did some research and from what I read these things aren't all that great. I guess I'll hold out for a mini-z like I originally planned.

nahh. Its been tried. Xmods electronics aren't the same level as the AM ones on Mini-Zs.

For example, Xmod's steering has '256 steps'. While the Mini-Z's steering has '1024 steps'. The Mini-Z is more precise and much smoother than that of the Xmods, so the hobby-grade controllers cannot co-operate with the lower number of stepings (sp?)
