also what are the black and yellow things soldered on the motor? would it do anything if i took them off?

i have a crest spin brush pro, and i took the motor apart, so ive got these magnet( hopefully neos) so i want to put them into the stage 2 motors i got, thats y i wanna take the pinion off.

pull the pinion off by wedging something under it and DO NOT take the yellow things off. they are resistors, they control the amount of electricity going to ur motor. If u take it off, ur xmod can blow a fuse.

the xmods depend a lot on thier electronics rather than the simple on and off switch style of other thing, removing the resistors will allow too much electricity to flow to not just the motor but through the circuits aswell, possibly overloading the fet board. As for the pinion, i lost my tool and just use needle nose pliers by wedging the tip under the pinion. Work it off carefully, anything works if u know ur limits.

i took a couple apart and what youve done is destroyed the bushing/bearing whatever it is thats in the front of it. i used a dremel to get the pinion off and the inside was still messed up. i dont know what to say man, im buying a new motor tho in a while, so we'll see what happens when i try to take off the pinion I want to use to mount to the new motor.

k the most amazing thing happend, i couldnt get the pinion gear off so i changed the magnets with the armiture in it!! it took me a while.... the u shaped thing never goes into place since i cant even reach inside, but eventually it went in, and now its got sH*t load of torque and i can drift with rwd. one problem tho, i locked the rear diff and put electric tape on, then when i use full throttle on my wood floor, the car just spins to the right when i dont even steer, whats up with that?

My left cup shaft was broken so whenever I floored it it would spin out to the right.

u need awd to keep from spinning out, if u have that kind of power directed towards the rw then the front will want to try to lift up, taking away grip and loosing control
