Default 1st post!: Just made a big purchase from RC Mart, whatcha guys think?

So, right off the top of my head, I ordered:

Tamiya Hyper-Dash 2 Motor
Atomic Elastic Antenna- 2nd edition-blue
Topcad wheels- Black. (They're sweet!)
2 topcad tire sets- 15 degrees
Rear diff and CVD joint- both in blue
Some Yeah Racing sealed bearings.
RCmart and Tamiya stickers.
Black lug nuts
Trinity Comm. Drops
Tire glue.
All for $105 shipped.

What do you guys think of that? Good products or no? BTW- Wil the Hyper-Dash burn my FET's?

yea the hyper dash 2 will work in evo on stock fets but u need them for a gen 1. I have a h-d 2 in my mustang (EVO) and it does fine but on pimpmymod it says u need FETs for gen.1. So it can depend on what you got for a car.BTW nice oder you got there.

Good to hear! So is it a nice improvement over S2? Do you think I could've gone higher, like maybe a PlasmaDash?

bigger better than the stock 20-22? ga. wire that comes stock in a mxod. Helps with more current flow.

yeah but don't go any bigger than 18awg unless you want even upgraded fets to swell after a few runs. also stay away from copper wiring it's bad news in an x-mod due to higher current flow. so just stick with 18 and you'll be good. also i'd like to see pics when it's done if you can get some.

the plasmadash will need atleast a 4x4 FET upgrade.
the motor you have purchased, will work fine with an evo.
Although you might be pushing the resistance with the lii-poly's and the motor.

10 to 1 the fets will more less fry.

Ha, too late. Already running straight copper 18AWG to the motors, stranded 18AWG on the batts. Oh well, I think I'll be fine.
