Escalade Project

well, i bought an Escalade at wally-world tonight. im not real good with models, so this might take me awhile to finish. i forgot to buy the model glue too so im at a stand still lol.

i put it on my f-150 chassis and it looks nice with the slammed rims. hopefully, i can get the glue and begin to put it together. i'll keep you guys posted and get some pics after the next few days.

yeh, i thinking abouts painting it a baby blue color. i dont want black or blue. white doesnt sound good and red just isnt cool. hopefully i can run to wally world tonight and get an airbrush.

well, i painted it a metalic blue. it looks like gun-metal grey if the lights not directly on it. im at school now but i will get pics as soon as i get home.

im going back to wally world tomorrow.... *yay glue!*

mounting the body is going to suck tho lol

I'm not trying to be a total jerk, but seriously, the fact that you build model cars has nothing to do with this thread. if you want to share with other people the work you're doing with model cars, and want to hear what other people are doing, start a new thread in the Off-Topic section. That would be more than fine. in fact I probably will in a few days when my model is done. But don't clutter up this thread with it.


back on to the topic:
I realise it's a little late, but I would really recommend figuring out the mount, and everything before paint. that way if you have to make any serious modifications to the body, you can do it, and not worry about screwing up your paint.

but it sounds sweet, and I can't wait to see some pics!

ok, now my camera used to take beautiful pics, look at my f-150 and supra... but lately, its sucking.... so sorry if they are a little blurry

anyway, here it is! *finally*













now its not all finished. i still need to do the windshield, and the rest of the caddy stickers and crap. and i dont even want to think about mounting it.... i know i'll fudge something up.
