Default 1 Gen and Evos?

Whats the difference between the two? Also, do their parts correspond with each other or no?

they don't correspond(with the exception of motors, bodyshells, and wheels)
the gen 1 is lighter, has an unsealed drivetrain(requiring more maintinance), more ground clearance, motor is mounted in line with the center of the car, and has less sterring capability.
evos are a bit heavier, have sealed drivetrains(less maintinance), less ground clearance, motor is moundet at a 90 degree angle to the car's center and is offset a bit, and tighter steering.

here's a picture of a generation 1 chassis:

and here's an evo chassis:

side by side:

hope that clears up things.

Generation 1 is more hobby grade, I call evos a toy. Fun toys at that.

gen 1 is the same quality as the evo, merc3des.
it just that the gen 1 is more balanced bing that the bulk of its wight is in the center and eveny distributed on both sides.
evos are slightly heavier on the left half than thier right because their motors are mounted offset

Gem 1s have more to customize in them. You can't customize evos as much as gen 1s. Also some parts can work with each other but most parts only work with evos or only work with gen 1s.

VERY few parts can be used. Actually all i can think of is a motor. Yea I'm just saying its really difficult to put hobby grade servos etc. on an evo, therefore being a toy in my mind. Dude I'm not bashing evos, i perfer em.
