Default Project-Low Ram

Since ive ran into a roadblock with my '92 stepside...i found an old Model i made when i was 8 years old. Looks horrible, and i never completed it... So. I have decided to make a super shortbox low ram.

No it won't. And you guys do realize he is not aiming for a lifted truck. A gen1 can be stretched and shrunk just as, if not easier then the EVO.

LOW-RAM, I think this is a hint to what the truck is going to be

Good luck Rover.

It's easy. Make a plate to fit between the bottom screw holes of the main chassis, and then make it to the length you need, and connect it to the rear chassis.

Basically, the main chassis screw to one end of the plate you made. the rear end screws to the opposite side.

I'm trying to find pics... nobody on here at least, has stretched a gen1 in for ever.

Go whine about it in the thread in real cars

What is wrong with a truck that can haul just about everything people will ever typically haul, and haul *** with 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, with handling with the likes of a sports car? Badass looks to boot.

i agree with texan on this one
it is a badass car, but even if you dont like it, like he said whine about it in the real cars thread
we started talking about a dodge ram project and now were off topic talking about the new el camino, thats kinda ridiculous

the only thing if he was to get a truck chassis is for one if you thought it through there tex is that you can lower it and it wouls look better if there was some slammed wheels on it imo, also i my expeiriences the slammed wheels dont fir the gen 1 because of the battery trays...

You can fit the slammed rims on, even with those tires. I've fitted off-road tires on there and they work. You might need the trim the front knuckle area a bit so the rims dont rub. You should also make sure the battery position are the most forward.

The body looks a bit odd... But hope this turns out the way you want it.

ill make the plate, thats not hard, but i have a slight issue with the drive shaft...it wont be long enough. I run AWD kit, so i need it up front, its not exactly going to be easy to fab a new one, what should i do?
