Zen Nihon GT Sensyuken Lancer Evolution
I have decided to scrap the Drift Lancer project. I needed more of a challenge and I want to build an all around performance xmod.
I currently have performed these mods to the Lancer: -AWD kit -GPM XME039F/4WD XMOD Evo Billet Aluminum AWD Front Axle Stub -GPM XME039R/C XMOD Evo Car Billet Aluminum Rear Axle Stubs & Captive Dogbones -GPM XME330LAN XMOD Evo Car Billet Aluminum Front Body Mount - 2004 Lancer -GPM XME316 XMOD Evo Car Billet Aluminum Shocks -Open Bearing Kit -Got rid of the Civic Si wheels for the NSX wheels. The car originally was a Z06 Vette that I swapped the Lancer body on. Here is how the car looks: I'm building the car as a Zen Nihon GT Sensyuken / Japan Grand Touring Car. I still have alot to do to make it just right, but little buy little, dollar by dollar it will get there! And for those who are wondering, WTF is a JGTC car and what does one look like?

you have a lot of work ahead of you. keep working on it. don't even think of paint till you finish the final sanding, which you shouldn't consider until it's fully shaped and formed and every detail is sorted out

Here is the car with the wide body and NSX wheels:
I also locked the rear differential and what a difference that made! Now to figure out what colors I should do. I was thinking something similar to this:

It's off to a really good start man! Good Luck on the final outcome, the colour choice is pretty much Mitsu. right there! Very good choice in my opinion. If you are looking for a spoiler that is close to the NSX's spoiler styling. I do believe there are some close to the NSX's spoiler style on www.xmodsinternational.com you could also look in the junkyard section and get an NSX spoiler. I know Chris is a very good man to deal with. Good Luck on the outcome eh? I will be watching this one. Blade. |

Here are some updates, I cut the vents open so that they are actual functional vents. Also drilled the racing holes in the rear bumper and spaced out the rear wheels to have the wheels flush with the fender.

Nice and unique paint job. Can you get more pictures from other angles of the body?
