Default Anyone ever seen a Honda CRX model?

I drive an 89 Honda CRX Si, and i want to build an xmod body that is the same as the car I drive in real life. I bought the car with the intentions of making it into a high performance daily driver... but we all know how those things go when money is hard to come by, so I figure this satiate my need for speed in a Honda CRX Si. What do you think of that idea, is the CRX a good pick?

Which one do you mean by good pick (or choice), the XMOD body choice or the real car choice?

kinda' defeats the purpose of having a crx if it has four doors.
He's right though... you may need to measure and see if the xmod will fit under the model body. It will look cool if you can do it though. I'd like to see a 1990's crx and a 1990's mr2 as an xmod!!!

Honda CRX would look pretty sweet. What color and etc are you planning on making it?

Later,

Just so you know, you shouldn't be limited to the size of the model, like whether it be 1:24 scale or somethin, you just need another chassis spacer and extend your chassis with that. I'm pretty sure theres a tutorial about that on this site, but i'm not 100% sure... hope your project goes well!

P.S.: PM me the specs of your car (in real life) if you have them!

^^the problem is that the CRX is such a short wheelbase car, that it maybe be shorter than the xmod. it's pretty hard to make it much shorter....

it is possible, however, that because it's a larger scale model, that it'll fit pretty well...

I'm about positive that it will fit, it is the same length as a regualr XMOD body. Like I said before my friend had the model that he put together and Im about sure that it will fit and it will look good too!!!

I've purchased quite a few models from ebay. it's a little pricey, but most of them are not available anywhere in the states.....

yea I agree with NUMBCHUX, a lot of them are not available in the us and around my area we only have about four true hobbieshops in like a 40+ mile radious of my house, so choices are limited. One of the shops will order me whatever kit I want but then again I have bought so much from the guy in the past, so it might not hurt to ask your local hobbie shop if they can find it and order it for you. But these kits are hard to find and I have never seen the CRX in any hobbie shop so your best bet would probablly be ebay, which around my area our hobbie shops ask about the same price as people on ebay would, so not to awful pricey if you ask me.

well im still busy with the skyline project so the CRX, if i can get one, will have to wait until afterchristmas. i checked ebay today and there was six of them up for sale, but they were all from UK, japan or hong kong. what would shipping costs be like?
