Default My lowered Civic

Well, as of lately a lot of people have been asking about lowering cars, and I'll tell you its really not that hard, I did it, and I am a novice by far when it comes to XMODS, but here it is. It looks like tires rub but they haven't hit yet, i have it all fixed perfectly.

oh, if it isn't to much to ask, if anyone has a picture of a stock civic with stock suspension and not lowered, could you give me a picture of it with a side view just so I can compare how far I really brought it down?

wow nice, I thought my skyline was as low as you could go but I guess not. This civic would be perfect if it was the Si blue

Thanks for the comments, yea, I would have liked to get the blue but I don't think my mom realised there were other colors when she got it but thats okay, I like my Black civic. I'd be willing to do it for you all but if I started getting packages of car bodys and clips my mom would flip out because I'd be giving people our address and stuff like that but oh well. Maybe when I'm on my own only thing is i never shipped stuff before so it'd be something new to me. But I'd do it all for ya anyways (For a price) and yea, I'm getting 5 spoke chrome rims in the mail. And I'm in negiotiations for parts with BlackSky. I'm really looking for a cheep drifting kit of tires tho lol right now my xmods is out of commission... Broke every wheel nut that came with it, and no it wasnt over tightening, they broke from I figure all the drifting i did with it one day. either that or those nuts really are that bad lol.

I'll paint it someday, when i get better with paints n stuff

Don't do sharpie...that's just ridiculous...there are paint tutorials all over this site. Save up and do it right w/ an airbrush.

Supressor: be patient and paint w. an airbrush, also nice job on lowering your civic, very nice! You can get metal wheel nuts at radioshack. The plastic ones are just plain crap.

EDIT: MUSCLECARS YOU BEAT ME TO IT!!...about not using marker... ....it's ok though...one day ill be a super fast poster just like you.... then we'll se who beats who!! LOL

Thanks guys, yea I have a cheapy air brush and i've never used it. got it from wall mart and it comes with an air can. Dont worry I'll do it someday, i was just hoping that I could find a good used one or one that comes on sale somewhere.

Yea, I'd never use marker on anything to me it looks bad and I'd feel like a kid coloring between the lines and stuff so yea, when I get a black civic body kit, and im ready to paint, I'm going to fill in the cracks where the parts meet with some bondo (maybe) and then shape it and the usual stuff to to body before painting.

What I would like to do is get some of the Neons for underneath it, because what i want to do is get the Neon that has the battery clips built into it, and then I'll have another spare plug for the Command logic kit, and do A dual exhaust mod and use the front lights to light up the exhaust and I would maybe drill 2 more holes in for the rear lights so i'd have 4 instead of 2. But thats a pipe dream, only thing for sure I want is the neons, just cant find any anywhere i Mainly want blue but any will do really.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I'm surprised no ones said "Hey! Theres no antenna! " well I didnt put it on because at that time i was constantly taking the body on and off and it was getting annoying.

lol Well I only got that one because we got a good 7.3 MP Digital camera for my mom and she let me try it out. For the price we paid for it and the stuff that comes with it, it was a great deal. But yea, she'll let me take some pictures I'm sure of it. And I'll post them all here too.

Okay, I was looking at paints today online, but none really show anything thats been painted with that paint. I want to paint it some sort of blue, but not a flat color. Something Metallic or Pearl would be nice, and i'm also gonna clear coat it, but what I'd like to know is, Can anyone recommend a specific paint that they've used on something before?

bondo made a tut, just follow it and you will know how to make a nice metalic paint =)
I use Testors paint but it's a spray paint so if you have an air brush, use a paint for it
