Default fiebird cowl hood

i got another xmod today a firebird and thought to my self it needs a cowl to make it look more powerful so thats what i did. i got the cowl for something else but it didnt fit that model. so now its on the firebird i cut the sides of the cowl and then took the hood and cut the middle out so i was left with the two side peices were the screw`s go in. now i just need to putty it up and and add the front point which i kept

this is what iam hoping for hood wise

how did you know have you been reading my mind again lol

hoping to use some styrene to build it up then putty it up after that need to bend the front of the cowl first so it will mould into the lines of the hood

Best of luck to you dude I've seen people create some impressive hoods but not sure I've seen so much cut out but then with your talent it shouldn't be a problem

Nice! The hood even looks good in! I didn't read anywhere about what you were planning as far as paint goes...I think a flat black would look good myself! Do you plan on doing anymore modification to the body other than the hood?

decide to shoot some black just to see how it would look and for some reason the front is a differnet colour to the back. i seem to have that problem eveytime i do black. i still have some stuff to do it before a repaint then hopefully it will be the same colour allround

and the body wont be getting anything else done to it it was just the hood getting a makeover

That hood looks fantastic. The putty work is immaculate, the cowl is the perfect modification body wise for that car. Me like
