Default What other bodies will fit my xmod...

I have an evo 2005 Mustang, just curious what other bodies would fit my Xmod without any extra modifications. Are there others that will just clip right on without a problem? My friend has a Titan and it's quite different so I'm assuming there are no truck ones that would fit as is.

any car bodys you can find.
since the mustang is the long chassis you can fit ANY car body that an xmod has been made..as long as you have the right front clip and adjust the chassis to its proper length

Something I just thought of...will this cause any problems with where the antenna lines up? or is it just a matter of bending it to fit the right spot for each body?

just a word of warning, double posting makes the mods unhappy, so just use the edit button instead

and no the antenna doesnt matter at all. all the chasis in stock form are essentially the same, some are just longer than others, and all bodies can fit any chasis, though some may need some minor modifications.

Gen 1 Long chasis bodies: Civic, Skyline, 350Z, Subaru, 65 Mustang, 67 Camaro, Supra, Corvette and Mercedes SLR

Gen1 Med chasis bodies: Cobra Mustang, RSX and NSX

If you are using two bodies from the same category I listed above, then you don't have to do any modifications at all besides changing the front mounting plate.

If you are using two bodies from different categories, you will need to adjust the chasis and use a medium of long drive shaft accordingly. Sound good? Just ask if any of this doesnt make sense. But you are good to go, once that body shows up, just swap out the front mounting plate and you are good to go.

Thanks, MC4L all ready linked me to his tutorial for making different sizes work, just wanted to be sure about the antennas (and I've got an Evo rather than Gen1)

Also, I double posted? If so it was on accident. If you're referring to those two posts above, they were made about 13 hours apart...I should still edit the last one to include the recent info? Just seems to me as though the thread would not get noticed very quickly if thats the case, since it will remain buried.

Either way, let me know the status quo and I'll follow.

if im not mistaken, you cannot double post unless your previous post is at least a day old or 24 hours!!!

Whatever, I'll ask a mod and figure it out. Thanks for the backup RodsRus and the possible clarification DRFTKO

My main confusion was that I've never been on a forum where double post didn't refer to posting the exact same thing twice...which people generally do on accident. Anyway, doesn't bother me, just want to make sure to not get off to a bad start on a new forum.

Either way, we're way off topic now.

I agree, 13 hours should be enough time, but I think that the rules were 24 hours or something

If you're deadly afraid of them PM me and I will. But might I remind you that it's an avatar...

I guess you wouldn't want me to post pics of my Redtail Boa?

Man, I respect you. I could never have one as a pet. I can do rats, spiders, and even lizards but snakes freak me out. You don't have to change it, I was only joking.
