One of the best projects I've seen in a long time, good job.

2 questions

What kind of motor is that and where is it from
And are the front shocks alloy micro rally shocks?

Awesome project to say the least! I don't recall anyone ever adding a camper shell to their project, so congrats on paving the way (someone correct me if I am wrong)! Nice to see innovation and creativity on this level with the hobby where it is at right now! Keep it up!

Here's a video showing the function and the current status of the project. (January, 2012)

Winch function test

Well, the electronics have taken place on the chassis ...

The switching amplifier board for the sound module I've also soldered. This is how the pneumatic motor can be sound synchronously switched via sound module.

It was further made on the body ... (7th April 2012)

Hood functionally adapted and continued to build the entire front, further brushed a bit color to see the imperfections.

Mini update...

I made a magnetic lock for the hood. The first thing I did completely encapsulates the magnet, but it turned out that they were weak, so I installed additionally magnets.

Now it works like I wanted it.

Also on the body I continued a bit, because I want to have the body work completed as soon as possible.

Bye!
Richi

Hey, thanks!

have been busy with the campers build ...

The rear vents in the building have a purpose.
Behind the slanted coverage elongated grooves have been milled.
Behind it, the speaker will be placed.

To the right of the "louvers" will be a ladder made of brass, which I still have to build.
All windows are already prepared and will be blacked out from the inside.

Camper will be white, the vehicle will be painted in a special pearl blue and maybe decorated with accents.
Building has just been primed and dried yet.
