Default How do I make light?

Hi there all, I'm getting my Xmod soon and was wondering how exactly does light-installation works. Does any light kit work? I'm a total newbie to pro r/c cars.

I see three here. Do any of these work?

What sort of connectors should i be worried about? I saw the wiring diagram for Gen 01 xmods .pdf and it seems to show a "connector"

But it seems to have 4 pins and yet all the light plugs seem to have 2 pins. Are these compatible?

You will need to buy the official XMODS Light Kit which works with both gen1, 2 and 3 cars....

Or you will need to get imaginative and custom fit one of the kits you listed, do a search and you should find at least one thread describing what each pin is for on the XMOD board....

Yes, that set is compatible with all of the generations of Xmods. By the way, the light kit that is in the "weapons and lights kit" for the Bumblebee Xmod can be used as well (it is the same light set). You may be able to find a few of the Bumblebee weapons and lights kits at your local Radio Shack (I found a few less than a month ago) and the kits will only run you $0.97 per kit.
