two lines in common that it with the bill cosby one, the Hi, mom and the two year old part. It is totally different if you ask me there is a couple lines but then they go in different directions. Bills kid is a runningback trained to kill and makes it to the endzone and says hi, mom. mencia's kid is a quarter back who works his way up though school and then after getting the mvp trophy in the super bowl says hi mom then he goes on about how she never even threw the ball with him. if you ask me this one is totally irrelevent to the case.

Carlos Mencia sucks. He steals everybodys jokes and most of his own jokes are retarted (like his "beaner" jokes for example). And like someone else has already pointed out, he is not even Mexican. Also his real name is "Ned", not Carlos.

The whole premise of the joke is exactly the same. It's the idea that was stolen, not the exact wording of the joke...

Okay, now you're being ridiculous. Watch the video again. Pay attention to the comedic timing that Cosby uses, and then watch Mencia use the exact same pacing, timing, etc. It's pretty obvious to everyone else who's seen it that he ripped off the joke, and the way the joke is told. I guess you're just overly defensive of Mencia for some reason.

Obviously I was being sarcastic. I guess you're slow on picking that part up? Also, you would obviously be in the minority as far as someone stealing intellectual material goes. Although, from your comments I am not sure how obvious that would be.

If any of them cared about someone stealing there jokes why dont they just copyright their material to prevent it. here is an example of why we have copyright laws. back in the early ninties a rapper called Vanilla Ice had a rap called Ice, Ice Baby, maybe you heard of it. the background music in that song was originally done by Queen and David Bowie in a song called Pressure. needless to say they sound exactly alike and Queen won the case. so instead of wining about someone stealing their stuff they should do something about it and copyright it.
