gen1 low rider truck

I have a spare gen1 chassis, so i decided to try to turn it into a low rider truck instead of buying a whole new truck chassis. Its still a work in progress, but its looking pretty good already. I took the electronics out and some other stuff, just to test fit and all. tell me what you think! Oh and I was inspired by NOTURDAY! His truck is freakin awesome! so i wanted to make my own version, only with a gen1 chassis. lol. ill paint it later on when im done modifying the body! Oh and the rear wheels look weird because there is no gear or shaft in there yet.









More reinforcment to the chassis will come, ive only spend an hour or so on it, its kinda hard to cut metal when you dont have the right tools lol.

and if this is in the wrong section, im sorry. I just noticed that there was an appearance section.

btw, has anyone else wondered why the front decks have an "N" sharpied on them?

hey good luck on the truck. it looks good so far. i started my own last night i built up a evo truck chassis from spare parts i had and threw a body on and spent a few hours with the dremmel now i just have to mount it to the chassis. if you need any help with ur truck ill be happy to help you

noturday didnt inspire me srry he gave me somewhat motivation to finish mine..anyway its not gonna work on the gen1 chassis because there is less room with the slammed wheels on it to turn, look at the picture of the front of the chassis...but i hope it will come out great

there is just enough room to turn, it looks like it wont in the pic because i dont have a front clip on yet. Im making a front clip for it this weekend. im not going to have it slammed to the ground, its probably going to stay as is like in the pictures. I still want to be able to use it and have fun with it. Oh and it will have awd, im going to get a carbon fiber rod and cut it to length and install an awd kit on it! i only have time on weekends to work on it, since i have college and work. so progress will be slow. hope everyone likes it! i will probably contact you noturday if i have problems! I love your truck!!!

any ways: as far as the truck goes, i'd like to see different rims than just the slammed kit rims. Try and find something original. Other than that, that truck is pretty ballin

uhhh wow....gone for a couple of hours and this happens.

Well back on topic, i only have one day out of the weekends to work on the thing, so progress will be slow. I will get pictures of everything i can! glad everyone likes it though! I will for sure look into some new wheels. This is just the beginning stages to make sure everything fits.

So far
$5 for the body with bk, $5 for slammed wheels, and a spare chassis isn't bad at all lol.

hey don't get me wrong. the fact that you put a truck LOWERED at that, on a gen 1 is pretty bad ***. i've always thought if you properly tune a gen 1 chassis, it would be far more superior to an evo. evo's are cheap.
