You gotta take into the account of driver skill though too. Quick question though, how do you know the truck had the Vortec V6? There no exterior difference on any of the s-platform trucks to show the V6, besides the Xtreme.
But the most fun with these, is ricers. You know the story, they underestimate these too much. If you are rice, besure not to tail gate too close, or I play games with you (engine brake, wait for them to attempt to pass, back into D and foot to the floor  )

Nice truck, Im not a fan of lowridas. I like the lifted trucks with brushgruards and roll bars.LOL

well the guy with the S10 Vortec, 5 speed, 2wd, has been a friend of mine since middle school, we were just bored over the summer and someone asked me if i would race him and i said sure i got nothing to lose

Not much of a Chevy fan, but I must admit, that is one 'helluva' sweet S10! One of the clean+tastefully modified ones I've seen so far!

Indeed, i got 21 mpg with the stock 4.8 v8 and an exhaust now I'm lucky to get 10.....but burning up tires every month is fun.......and even more pricey
 But this thing really screams, quite literally, runs 1/4 mile in 12.3 seconds, if i can get it to hookup.....**** fast in a pick up truck . Im really thinking about converting this thing to AWD with an SS scrapper I just found to fix that whole no hook-up thing off the line EDIT: Did I mention I'm supercharging this thing this summer!!
