I lost a metal lock nut last week. I was drag racing my Supra outside, car hit top speed, and the right rear tire flew off as it passed me. The plastic lock ring inside the nut will wear over time with repetitive installing/removal. I lost the nut, and the outer ball bearing was launched out as well. So check your nuts gang.

i found some metal ny-locks at hobbytown USA and they are a perfect fit! work with the lug wrench too. only $4 for 4

I have been fortuante not to lose/break any nuts from racing, and there is a speed bump out on the front of my home so I do all sorts of crazy jumps from it.

I only broke them when changing my tires. But those things are trash anyways, thats why they give a bunch when ya buy a tire upgrade. Definatly get the metal ones.

I got a set silver and black metal nuts for free. I usually take a small piece of tape to keep the nuts from coming off.
