it uses a dual motor tamiya gearbox i think, he could control just 1 track at a time or both

That's cool. I made some progress on the treads. I have the metal part finished. Now I'm just waiting on the treads to get here. The body is sitting for now. I sanded and primed it, but ran out of paint on another project. There will be pics tomorrow. I promise.

it looks like you are going to have to get some deep dish wheels with no back spacing to be the drive wheels that or get the shafts that mount the wheels longer but i think it would be easier to find or make the wheels

I already have planned out what I am going to do for the wheels. Lego wheels will be my main material. I have to drill out the middle and glue in a driveshaft. That will be done with all the wheels.
It will work. I swear. |

hey! I have erector stuff too, but anyhow you are going to need much more steering power than the stock servo to steer the tracks because erector parts are steel which are pretty heavy, so I recommend a servo mod and you also might want to incorporate a truss onto the rear track sets because with the tracks on they will loosen up easily.
