I just use testors paint thinner to remove enamel and spray paint. It takes time, and never let it sit too long, but it works great. Also good for cleaning up detail work when using testors enamel.

I think it looks good. Im not a real painter or anything, so I really dont mind a few flaws. Hell, when I get a new car (real one), Ill primer the thing flat black and be happier than a toothless cannibal eating a pureed arm.
