Sorry for the unclear first pics, just a tease, but here it is. The hybrid.

JUST A MOCK UP ^^^^^^.

I need effective way to hold the shock, and a dependable servo in place, without other stuff getting in the way. Any ideas?

No compression/support

Supported.

I felt like leaving the 2 rear posts in the end, had a feeling they may come useful later on.

Thanks!

Any suggestions? <3

use a truck shock, and use the two rear post to create an elevated shock-mount plate (elevated above the EP)
then mount the evo board with the servo with a customized tierod (paperclips) to steer. batteries in their current location is fine. use deans plugs though, and bypass the on/off.

Thanks for your excellent advice, although I can't seem to find a proper servo small enough to fit either under the front assembly or on the rear. Any more ideas? I might create another level, but this is proposed idea, not final. Things might see some change, because I am only getting 2MM front suspension travel, but i think this model has excellent center of gravity. I am currently waiting for a finalized version of the lower plate and brainstorming on servo mountage. Thx.

Any reason for the scotch tape covering the vents on the bottom of the chassis in the first pic?

Oh, those are put under the batteries, there is a minor gap in between battery and chassis

I love it so far. Why not try fitting a Mini-Z Mr-02 shock, or a disc damper system If you make the bottom plate a t-plate and have flex, you'll have the first xmod isolated suspension system. Like a mr-02 rear. Can't wait to see more of the front end, something seems good about it.

So I take it the tape is permanent? Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't that affect the "ventilation system" (covering up the openings under the chassis)? That is if you are planning to cover up the board later on.

Why do you need a center shock if your rear end have independent suspension already?

I have consider the shock mount plate, but then, I rationalized that it is best I make this. (go down)

Double the Shocks, Double the Fun, Double the Attention?

Enjoy!

PS. How small is the micro T servo compared to gen 1 servo.

Not really much an update, but I found a servo that I can possible jam in.

Affordable too!
