My... second Summer Project.

You probably don't know but my first summer project is my Gen 1 with the Skyline shell. (That's horribly messed up right now and may never recover, but I have some ideas for it.)

Well my second summer project is none other than... A scooter.
No, not some fancy pants moped or gas or electric scooter. A man's man's 1 footpower scooter (you know, the kind nerds and 12 year olds ride.)

I picked it up from Walmart after much deliberation. It's some weird brand called Rage. No big name, but it's sturdy and it goes so I'm happy.

First mod was (similar to many xmods): bearings. I went down to a skate shop with my scoot in tow and bought some Bones China Reds bearings - $20 and my buddy highly recommended them (wait, isn't that how much I paid for my xmods bearings? ugh)





Next mods up:
Outfitting the entire top deck with grip tape, first ripping off that stupid RAGE grip tape, and stencilling in some cool design on the tape.

Maybe spraypainting the whole thing flat black to be BADASS.
