1/43 anyone?
I loved the scale ever since I was a kid because you get all the details for a fraction of the price and space of the bigger models (well, sometimes). Now that dnanos are finally affordable, my passion for these got a new spark.
We had Modifiers line a few years ago that I thought was ingenious for the scale. On a side note, here's my latest and greatest addition to my white car set:

I'll bump w/ some Modifiers pix in case you guys don't know what they were (basicly 1/43 xmods save RC part):
Full show (http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/q...s/98Civic2.jpg) #2-21. For the scale, the level of detail and parts was superb. At 10$ a pop, they EASILY beat the fancy $50 die casts IMO.

Somehow I missed this thread? Bah.
Nice looking collection so far. Although I don't have 1/43's as sophisticated as your dNano, I do have a few ZipZaps laying around as well as various 1/43's you find for $10 or $15 at shopping malls, WalMart, etc. They're pretty fun on a rainy day. Cheers, Kyle.

Nano, where? I want to get 1 for all of these bodies, but cash escapes me as of yet. As FYI, Hobby Town USA started stocking nanos for 130-150 depending on the body you buy on the chassis which is MUCH better than 220+ it was prior to US launch. Since I have all the 2.4 gear already, I just need a car and maybe kyosho LiPo/charger or some alternatives our local guys homebrewed already.

Hit up youtube for nanos, there's plenty of footage already and then add what I wrote from my limited hands-on. Poke tinyrc forums too, plenty of info/pix/etc there for a while now.

modifiers are the only toys i still catch myself playing with. that is unless you don't consider legos a hobby (which they are).
i have 2 escalades (metallic beige and black), 2 accords (white and dark blue), 2 civics (red and yellow (yellow has decals and no stock parts, came with the showroom, which i have)), a blue mustang w/ decals (came with a wheel rack and a lot of rims/tires), a blue mr2 w/ decals, a black f150, and my sister bought my f150. other than the civics, mustang, and mr2, i have the whole [something]th series that i got as a package for like $15. as for other 1/43, not much, i think i have a blue f150, but that's about it.
