Question about hoods.
I searched "how to remove hood" "hood removal" and a few other and could not find the correct answer.
I was looking at my Xmod Steet (Corvette) and it looks like the Hood is not removable like some models I have seen on here. So does everyone have to cut it out or do some models have that option and others dont. I have seen some with "engines" under the hood I dont think I have enough space for one tho. Thanks.

You can't remove the hoods or any body parts from the street series, except the rear bumper [Z06, Mustang], windows [GT-R]. But on the Mustang, you can remove all the parts, bumpers, side skirts, hood, etc...
To remove the hood from the GT-R and Z06, yes, you need to cut it. All the egnines are from model kits, the chassis, body, or engine has been modified for it to fit. Last edited by dontspamme; 04-04-2009 at 12:33 AM..

If you are trying to make it functional, check out the tuts on the forum. There i a tut on how to custom hinge your car's hood.
The hood on your Z06 is not removable. You will have to cut it. Later, T.I.M
