trac phone rant

trac phone is seriously getting on my nerves i tryed to get a fing ringtone so i paid 22 minutes for an 11 minute ringtone because it took 22 and i looked in my phone and no ringtone. so i called trac and what did they tell me. tough sh!t this is getting on my nerves any ideas what i can do?

dont use trac phone. i know there cheap but they suck pretty hardcore

Get a real phone with a plan.

I did the whole TracFone thing and hated every minute of it. Get a pay as you go plan with a provider and get a real phone, you will enjoy it much more.

I don't have a pay as you go plan but I'll take my Moto Q9C anyday over a TracFone POS. Never again will I do that.

Get pay as you go from T-mobile, much better than tracfone.

Had that before I went to Cingular and I would recommend it. Not sure if they still have it, but when I was with them they would allow you to buy a $100 card, which was worth a 1,000 minutes and would last you a year. Worth it in my opinion and only stopped using them since I got a family share plan with my parents.

I'd recommend Virgin Mobile. It's a pretty decent phone service. Of course, if you have a family plan go with that, but as a Pay as you go phone, it's really nice. Paying $20 every 3 months or so sure beats out $100 per month.

i had virgin mobile and the coverage area sucks.

It was fine in Cali... Well what the moral of the story is, with less people, (1 or 2 people) pay as you go phones are better money wise, where as where there are a lot of people (such as a family) its better to have a plan.

trac charges minutes for ringtones and things and i tryed twice the ringtone cost 11 minutes 11x2=22 so i paid 22 minutes and i got ahold of them today so i got my ringtone and 15 minutes so im happy but it was so funny a mexican answered the phone so i said where is this call from i dont like long distance this dude said canada
