Your running 9 volts through that servo motor? If so, it won't last long at all.

eactly,it spins side ways, but not a full revolution, it goes side to side quicklyso the furthest it spins, is like 90 degrees either direction(left side, right side)...now how did you manage to say it in like 2 words, oppossed to my 100 ...

...oh and to whoever said turning siganls are "immpossible" i disagree

i get it completely i like the idea lol. i made this cause it was fun for me and it looks somewhat real lol. i like your idea alot. nice thought bud

im gonna actually make a attempt for signals lol.

I've just got mine done, and it works well enough on shredded paper. Can't test it on snow because the snow is too wet and heavy. Was going to test it with sawdust but it was vacuumed up yesterday.
All I need now is a real test and figure out how to mount it. And a new truck.

Well, got one pic and the batteries in my camera dies.

There are still a few things I'm going to do to make it work better. One is that I'm going to put a small plow in front of the gearbox to push snow into the blades or whatever you want to call them.
Might also work better if I didn't put the blades on backwards.

uhm, were saying i was awsome or Crazyxmoder?

I noticed something about all your guys snowblower. you are going to be blowing the snow back in front of you! so basically it couls be a waste of time, and the snow will eventually build up to the point to where you cant even plow it! you might need some ducting to get re-route the snow. maybe even a small prow to deflect it.

Exclamation

turn signals

ok 2 ways
1 take a power feed from the servo out put
2 make up a switching system from the servo horn or steering linkage (micro swith /contacts/ woteva )

easy

as a side note get the LED's that have a buit-in flash cuircut

A thing I noticed like kitt222 said. You will be pushing the snow back in front of you. Also I also think that because they are so small, it would have a hard time unless your motor is very torquey. If you do not re-direct the snow, then it will just pack up in front of the truck and make it too thick to drive. Also you can only drive in really powdery snow or else you would run into problems.

blinking LEDs are the easiest way to make a trun signal, but they only come in 5mm sizes, but you can wire a 3mm after it and then the two will blink in sinc. or you you could build a blinky cicruit, that would not be to different from the back and forth circuit for the sweeping snow plow...in fact the same circuit setup can be used for both, with a little bit of strategic wiring...

Very cool dude!! You might want to put a bigger motor in instead of that servo one, maybe a stage 1 with neo mags for extra power, also you need to think about something stronger for the blade, obviously aluminum would be the best but that's going to be to hard to work with, maybe a few coke cans cut in half and screwed together to make it rigid.....

hmm i like the idea of the coke cans...if this set up works at all ill consider the can lol. as for the motor i might consider a micro t motor if i can find a spare cheap. i thought about a s1 i had laying around but i want to try and keep it compact so it still has alittle bit of a scale look lol. thanks for your input i like your ideas.
