No, not some fruity skating show your mom forced you to go to...anyone tried this? I just tool the junkbird out to my pool, it has the cover on it, but some water still managed to get on top of the cover, and it froze pretty smooth. The car is 2wd open diff and has a stage 2 on 11-23...great fun, maybe I should make a documentary on how dangerous winter driving is lol!

I've seen this a few times of different forums a YouTube. It's quite comical to watch an Xmod scoot accross a frozen lake or driveway under no control from its owner.

And now, for the beuatiful, graceful, Junkbird, performing the gutbuster suite.
I also got some action shots of the backtires "roasting" lol...the open diff allows one tire to squeal while the other just sits there...talk about needing to be balanced...the car actually drives better (straighter) in reverse! lol

EDIT: I have to upload the **** video via google...it'll be a few, but it will be up.

i forgot why cars drive better in reverse on ice. i now want to do this on my pool cover lol. i think it has to do with the pulling of the car instead of pushing lol. make google faster me want video lol

EDIT: have you tried photobucket or youtube....

pb dont wanna wurk...stupid site...it wont let me, error of some sort. i really dont like to use youtube, but maybe laster i will pull it up and get it working. tell you wat, lets just post pics for now, then get vids later...pica are pretty kool in my opinion.

They work better in reverse cause its easyier for the car too pull, not to push.

have you ever tried to push a piece of string? it doesnt work does it. put have you tried to pull it? its super easy.

Its easier to pull than push. So if a RWD car is driving backwards, its pulling its way threw the ice and snow. vs trying to push its self threw it if it was driving straight. this is why that crappy honda civic will chomp threw the snow while that badass camaro is stuck in the ditch.

It would suck if it just so happen to hit a bump, and one of the batteries come out, and it would be stuck in the middle of the pool.

Try a 4wd chassis, that would be nice, instead of a rwd. You would drift so nice with 4wd, with rwd you would actually just sit there burning one or two holes in the ice.

that junk bird turned out nice. you should however have made the rear wing crooked or something. lol. yeah ice driving is fun. i did it a ton last year when my roads froze over.
