So there are screws for gen 3 65 Mustang maybe there will be a body kit for that coming out yet? For RS would cost much other than materials because they already made that car, already have the patterns.
GT-R is no concept anymore.... And chinesekid and I are on the same track.Nice car tho. Nissan FTW...Excluding the GT-R...

I saw 2 at Street Wheels Carshow at Cedar Beach at the dealers section and I think they're sharp looking. Nice Xmod but still RS messed them up big time.

in terms of paint: metallic lime green ftw! or purple, orange, black, or like the forza 2 350z.

how about taking an exacto to the inside and cutting out the bumpers?
then you can make some custom bumpers from old bodykits, and just use duct tape on the inside to hold them on.
hey, this body leaves more room for customization.

I was hoping for a new chassis, they really should have made the chassis more like the Gen 1's IMO. If I wind up with one, I'll get the Mustang just cause I had wanted the Gen 1 Stang.

shes definately a beauty, the removable windows will make for easier painting for those who can't mask that well.

and this isn't the only xmod they have released without the option for a body kit.

the most i'd do would be to cut out vents to get airflow and lighten it up a bit.
this body makes the Xmod more hobby ish IMO because: haw many mini-z's do you see out there that have bodykits?

yeah, this body inspires creativity alot more. you have to make your own bodykit. maybe rs did listen to us. now there are enough possible bodykits that no two will be alike.

Exactly like a i said before: epoxy putty is the answer. Is to body any lighter? becasue they did remove some screws and the window may be thinner because they are tinted.

Totally agree with that. I was looking at my 2 mini-z bodies and A) they don't have body kits (duh) B) there are no holes for lights & C) the windows are transparent. The GT-R body looks very much like a Z body in the way is was produced.

As xmodders, we're used to the body kits, lights and extras the XMODS product gave us. And we should be. But in the Z community, they don't so much have all of the "frills" we have.

When XMODS have given us less, we produce more. Just look at the "aftermarket" parts on ebay, the countless project cars on websites such as this (which are IMHO works of art) & the transformation of a car from purchase to modded completion.

I have no doubts that in the coming weeks we will see some amazing NISSAN GT-R's tricked-out in ways the "suits" of Radioshack never could have imagined.

So modders, do your thing! Get to work! Do the job better rather than waiting on mass produced pieces from a factory in China!!

Get those lights on there, it looks a lot cooler. I also got some leftover springs that I'll be putting on, possibly other rims too.
