Default 10 Most Popular Cars of the 08 Year

Well according to Yahoo and provided by Road & Track magazine:

1. Ford Focus
2. Ford Mustang
3. Honda Accord Sedan
4. Honda Civic
5. Honda Fit
6. Kia Rio
7. Toyota Camry
8. Toyota Corolla
9. Toyota Prius
10. Toyota Yaris

This is actually the final contender list for the Yahoo! Autos Excelerator Award so I don't know if it means anything to the actually car industry but its interesting to see how even though the countries ecomomy is basically screwed the Mustang is still right up there.

The mustang is a good value for the base model. Invoice is a little over $19k but there are dealership using the base model as bait, selling it deep under invoice putting it into Focus territory. Given the choice most people would want the Mustang if the cost is similar.

honestly not suprize to see the stang up there, you see alleast one in almost every parking lot, and as for gas the V6 is very good and even the GT is good on it too (if you take it easy)

Not something they'd put on their TV commercial. Though the criteria for this is... interesting. Just about all other media outlets in the auto world wouldn't have the Mustang up there, and the Focus was blasted by many, loved by rich middle class suburban girls though. 3.

i guess this list is for those biofriendly yuppies who think mustangs are "high class".

in my world, those cars would be the top 10 first crushed list lol.

except the honda fit. i must say i have a slight attraction to super charged k20 honda fits.
