well as long as they have more body options and kits etc... im ok with the reproduction. i just dont want the EXACT same as the gen. 1

I hope some body kits come out. I would kind of like to make a drag car, and that Mustang could be it.....wish they made a Camaro....

yah if they were the exact same, they probably wouldnt sell much if people already got the gen1 body

i would be really angry if its the same BASIC principal and designs. if your going to do a remake, make sure it is totally unique...

from what i can tell it looks like they actually made them cheaper than before. especially since they made the crystal non-removable from what we can tell. that seems like something you would have on a cheap rc. i don't think i will be buying one for a while, maybe when they come down in price or they come out with a nice truck....or both haha. until then, i'll save my money for something more worth-while

maybe there is a crystal under the plastic cover, if there is, use a 2nd gen controller.

as i sit with both the only differance is of the crystal. same suspension,same drive train,same everything. and the stuff on the motor its hard and thick. its on top of the solder so i think wont let you get to the solderor something.

Not impressive, but I'm still going to buy one or two. I tried to get the 'Stang today, but they said they don't get shipments till Thursday, and they may be in that shipment, so it looks like I have to wait till tomorrow.

Wonder if the crystal was the root of the interference problems with our RX/TX all along? I could buy that reasoning for the new crystal-less cars. But, if we still get the occasional intermittent reception problems, then RS may have further lowered the respect of the XMODS line-up.

It does WAY SUCK one can't race 2 or more of the same car at a time. Guess they're not counting on us getting together and being competitive.

I'd like to officially hear the reason for these crystal-less cars.

well i guess that all the cars have different bands. stang has 7 gtr will have one and same for the vette. they think that one friend will get a different car so then you can race 3 cars
