My car has crap torque. It's just not there. But it's pretty nimble in the curves. It's fun to drive. Not a race car or a sports car (actually, it is a sports car..), but it's fun. Feels like your driving a go-cart, that's why I love (older) Honda's..

If I did a Mini-Me Headswap to get Vtec, I should gain some performance. But with a new motor/trainy combo going for $800, I could do that instead and gain 70hp... Yah, right.

There was a guy (or girl?) with a Fiesta before the hack. That fiesta was really cool though. He/She said it wasn't gonna be tuned and stuff.

You gotta understand that there are a few diffrent types of street racing/street cred things...

1.) Real, full on racing.
2.) Stop-light to stop-light without breaking the speed limit. Pure fun just to see.
3.) Rev your engine and see who's got the more violent diahrea.

And then a $50,000 sports car vs. a $7,000 A-B DD?

Thats how it is with the Slowbird, once out of 1st gear, it doesn't pull much harder. But it's gracefull in the corners, and handles flat. No track car, but I can have a lot of fun on the back roads here.

Wait 'till you see what I got for the Slowbird too

That's called a deisel engine. Notice how just about all comercial grade deisels have huge diameter exhaust pipes. Same with deisel trucks, their exhaust system is usually a few inches larger then their gas counter parts.

If I shift at about 4250rpm, it gets good (almost better) torque through second and third. I ussually ride third up to speed (on and off the high way), then shift to fifth.

Turbonator?

Everything goes through a hole. Why not?

Some of the newer buses route the exhaust through the bumper, but why not? Buses are just like cars. The more appealing they are in many ways, the more they sell to schools and the like. Keeps the exhaust tucked up and out of the way. Better undercarriage aerodynamics, who knows. Shoot International an e-mail..

heres the pics of the black euroheadlights...which is kinda epic because its the first sc2 without crappy sylvania headlights....on record anyways...took some cutting and next weekend i got some rewiring to do but here it is...

im going to wind up swapping out the foglights with some aftermarket ones with black painted backing to match my headlights, currently, there are blue parkinglight bulbs in those headlights, they're going to be replaced with red.

I didn't notice that until your post. Now, that's all I notice. Reminds me of the movie "Cars."

TI, the Opel is a GM car company. Suicide, it is a nice ricer! But...I thought Saturn's were American cars. One of my favorite Saturn's is the Saturn Sky.
