Default Suicide's Drifter

here's some pics of the board to start off...

mods to the board include:
Zx9Rbart's battery cap mod
Direct soldered motor wires
2x2 fetstack
deans plug

mods to chassis include:
RS metal bearings upgrade
RS suspension and drop kit
custom paint

here's a few shots of the body:

body is stock with paint from iceman, custom painted scion rims...waiting on lithium ions to get her running...oh, it's running a radline 130 motor.

Wow. THat is a really cool paint job. THat thing is gonna do donut instead of drifts with the lithium. You like those radline motors. I picked up a couple and put them in my radline and it flew but couldn't turn. Which radline motor is it?(stock,sd,sp,sr, modified?)

Hey man, did you see my last post on XMF?
Sometimes I've read up, such on PX they have capacitors, and over 5.5v, they can get damaged, and possibly along with the Li-ions..
I personally don't think it's worth it with Li-ions, you will already have enough power, plus they have much more power to shoot out from a roll...unlike NiMh's on that cap mod...
BTW:
If you DO the mod, if it stores that power(a lot from Li-ion), then say when you are driving it or cornering, the power could be released, and possibly making the car spin out..that's my thought on it..
PSlol)
Cut down the lithium harness, you don't need all that wire, cut down the wires to have 1 inch of wires coming off each prong, be careful, those deans are fakes, and they melt QUICKLY, so, when you are soldering and tinning, be quick, the prongs got so hot they came out of the deans...it's so disgraceful...

fake deans FTL! listening to what you have to say, you got me scared of the capacitor lol, hrmm...i may take it out and see if i'm satisfied with what i have, i'm guessing i will considering the power supply and the torque from the radline motor...btw, it's the green one out of the three pack, not the modified. and as far as money sunk into it, lets say...$15 for the new board, $2 for the suspension upgrades, i had the radline motor laying around, $0 for the paint, $20 for the scion starterkit, and $20 for the lithium ions, so $57 total, woulda been cheaper if my idiotic tendencies didn't make me fry the previous board, but live and learn.

he's my brother in law, he paints a bunch of my stuff

edit: i was playing around with a CLL board and decided that red lights looked cool in this things headlights, gives it sort of a demonic look, while i was at it, i added 4 foglights...it's hard to see at night, ya know??

those pics look kind of sloppy, but it looks wicked in person...the only pic that comes close to doing it any justice is the 2nd one, i'll try to get better pics this weekend.

Ah, you know what the sad thing is, is that ebay sellers can't solder.

They sometimes stack the FETs wrong, so i it doesn't work, you might find out the hard way..then the seller will claim you're a retard because you fried it, they don't care.

wow, those red headlights do make it look pretty sick, but the fog lights in the grille kind of take away from that effect. how does that radline motor work for drifting? i might have to give it a try, my drifter has a gen 1 stg 2 red motor, it works alright, but im sure more torque would be better.
