if you're planning on running a fet upgrade i'd go with BLT's handwound motors, if you want a machine wound i think me and bondo figured out that the chili may be faster than the T2 and Z2. As far as a stock fet motor, i like a PN Racing Speedy07BB, its got a decent top speed and a buncha torque.

I have a pattern wound 42t motor that is FET stock, and the torque and speed is amazing. PM if you interested.

im waiting on a v2 board to be able to run blt's motor, it's hard to say b/c the chili is quick. if i get time i'll run a batt back straight to blt's motor in one of my cars and try to get an estimated speed

Eh, you do realize the T2 beats the chili, according to speed, right?

Less turns= more speed.....

Stang_racer, I have another one of my motors, when I get in my spdier v3 from XI, I'll get a ROAD test, yes people a road test, of it's top speed.

Also, REDSXmodder has been in the motor biz WAY longer than I have, I suggest his motors, they are top-spec and people seem to love em.

I have to say, I hear alot of talk about your motors. Needless to say, I'm quite impressed.

thanks for the comment, though.

SS, put the arm that BLT sent you into a Chili can, and your got yourself a kick-*** motor..

Thanks man, it really means a lot to hear that from someone taht's one of the best in the biz.
BTW, is there that much of a difference from the Atomic-quick release endbell and the M1?
I ask because there aren't different springs for the Atomic-style.
I heard the springs affect torque/topspeed, and the brush life.

There isn't much. The main thing you get with the M1 (HE) style endbell is adjustability. Different brush settings for different conditions. The EGR style (Atomic quick release) is just as good as the M1, it just lacks adjustability.
