Project: "Old School"

Well, this is a project i started a couple days ago. The theme of this car is to do mainly old school upgrades, like trimmed knuckles, and the bic pen mod.

Ive got a few starter pics for everyone:








If anyone noticed, there arent any electronics in the car in that last pic where i showed the underside. Well, it now has some electronics in it. and is currently in the testing phase, trying to work out the little bugs in it. The chassis now has AWD in it, and i put in a red s2 motor in it for the time being. i also put on the gpm rims that i had on project "spy." there is a big change in the color of the body too, lol. i hope people notice that! :hmm: And last, but not least, the reason why this is project "Old School" is the CXP front and rear upper decks. :hitit:

Question, did you make the Integra R decal yourself or 'borrow' it from another model?

lol, it was actually on the body when i got it, so i dont know exactly where it came from.

Looks good. So throwing some CXP decks, a clear chassis (that was at the end of the Gen1..) and a Stage 2 is a project?

Replaces the driveshaft with a pen shaft for less weight OR it's used to fix the bottom of the front knuckles when they break off.

Making a lightweight drive shaft from the ink cartridge tube thing from inside the cheap BIC pens.

i consider it a project because the shell is going to be painted, and this car has been built from scratch. i didnt use a starter kit. i had to find a working ep(this one still isnt up to par yet). Also, i had to search through all my parts to find whats on there. and for me thats a project in itself because im too lazy to organize my xmods stuff, lol. i may put liths on it.. not sure yet. Also, that motor isnt going to stay in there, i just put it in so that it had a motor sitting in it. I want to put a spinbrush hybrid in there.

chill out and STFU..... he's building this thing from scratch and doing OLD SCHOOL MODS. That's the theme of his project. And yes...it IS a project.

I found some rims that i like better, and will probably fit the car better after it gets painted





I also started sanding. It still needs some more work in some areas, just wanted everyone to see where it's at currently...

i didnt say wwhat color i was going to paint it, i dont want anyone to see it until its done. i will say that it is a lighter color, thats why im using the silver rsx instead of the black one.
