edit: i looked on the source website for those "xmods equivilents" they look pretty cool, i like the BMW and the RX-8 looks cool. they have a couple same bodies as xmods though. if i lived in canada i would pick up one of them. and stock AWD is pretty cool. the upgrades are cool but pricey. i like the ram daytona thing! and it has motor upgrades too which is cool

because they are the bodies for it i know they look the saem but they arnt those...they are for custom RYDz, and xmodificationer trust me you dont want one...their not what their made out to be...

the only things their good for is the body...they also have no offroading capabilities...even though they sell truck bodies...

yeah they go a bit faster than a stock xmod with the motor upgrade already in...but to their advantage you can add 9 cells without burning anything up...

they still suck...

Those custom rydz, I was thinking of getting one before I was into Xmods. They look cheaply made. All of the starter kits that I saw at my source was all opened and stuff. I might get the motor upgrade from them and try it out in my Xmod.

its only a bit better than a stock xmod motor. the stage 2 blows it out of the water...its pointless plus its not just bolt on, you would have to replace the wires and theres some soldering involved... which i take you aint good at..

I can do some basic soldering such as batt packs and motor wires. How much is that motor anyways??

i think its 9.99 still, tell me if you get better results but just running a upgraded custom rydz with the motor upgrade was no faster than a stock xmod chassis...

its funny the chinese dont stop they made a copy of a copy. First came Mini Z then HPI coped that and made xmods and now we got these carpier rc cars whats next? (Im not dising xmods i just find it funny a copy of a copy.)

the custom rydz is only copying the "tune it yourself" aspect of it, the chassis design and everything is completely different its pretty well thought out but for 69$ would be like buying an unrare gen1 xmod for 100$. its not hobby grade or even close...thats the problem, the car its elf is well thought out but they just didnt put enough money into building it.

this is due to a chinese law that says if you want to build something here you have to give us, the government, blueprints for it too. thats why cars built there look the same as from company to company. chevy sells it own brand made there and another native chinese company make its version of the same car but 3K cheaper and up to the same quality.
