And then their affixed to the front clip, so now its stuck using the one body.

Great design!

edit-please note that nivlacs3z, the starter of this whole magnet suspension design on XMW just recently passed away in a car accident..

the point of the magnet shocks is to give it an air-bag type of ride... its got more of a hop to its skip... so to speak... i agree they are rather dumb and all they do is stiffen the ride...

the whole point of aribags is that you dont have to get out of the car or do anything...just push a button.

these you have to take the body off, and all that ****, meanwhile you could have just taken out the springs in the same amount of time.

any idiot in a real car could get out and adjust is coilovers and lower his ride the same as airbags, it would just take him 2 hours longer...

in xmods, it would take the same amount of time, and gives worse performance,

their crap leave it be...

Air bags are for many reasons. Adjustable ride-height on the fly. Smooth ride. Level correction for heavy loads (hence why 18wheels use them too), for slamming at the show, and cruising on the streets, for performance on the fly, or even now, lifting to the clouds on command.

Thats the hole point of airbags...

Your arguement is like saying starters are foo-foo because now we dont have to get out of the car to crank over the motor.

If youd like, Ill get the original thread to these, theirs more possibilities than you may think...

Coil overs, and air bags are not typically for the same reasons. Adustable coil overs is for fine tuning suspension, as you can with air bags. Its just not as accepted, as its got the cliche of just being used on slammed rides. Which I fully support that too

ok theres a problem with magnets, and its a huge one. if you face the two ends with the same polarity, the stronger magnet will slowly turn the weak magnet into IT'S polarity, so the effect of repulsion will gradually decrease over time, and depending on how strong the magnets are at each corner, you can eventually end up with very different "spring(magnet) rates" at four corners, therefore decrease peformence.... i dono if that made sense to all but there it is
