Project: Smooth Operator

I'm usually not big on the project threads but i'm pretty excited about this one.
here's my homage to the street truck scene(cali roller). it's blue f-150 body with a few "spare parts" thrown in the mix.
the name "smooth operator" is pretty much for the cosmetic aspects but i have a nifty little idea to make the body a bit more life like(stay tuned for details)
i've done a good bit of puttying since these 2 pics were taken but you get the basic feel for what i'm going for.
so far i've frenched in the headlights/tailights, smoothed the body and added a few suprises.

thanks guys, the progress in the pics took about 2 hours and i hadnt gotten to the chassis yet.(those wheels were closest to me at the time)

@noturday, ive already done the frenched exhaust and i didnt really think it fit this truck.
i seriously thought about it but then changed my mind half way throuch the first cut.

@123vette, the smooth body isnt really my favorite either but ive been trying to get a feel for different types of modifications.
i dont look at my personal favorites when building a body. i look for something challenging that hasnt been done or has been done but with my own spin on it.

as for the color, that's part of the top secret-ness of the project.
this is another aspect of the cali rollers that doesnt really suit my taste but im still going to go for it.
most street trucks have wild colors and off the wall paint schemes.
though they dont please everyone, they are certainly eye catching.

keeping true to this style i can promise that the paint will deffinately be eye catching.
