I dont think it is an official xmod body is it? The body is listed as being made of lexan, and xmods bodies are plastic.

i very seriously doubt that the XMODS corp. of Japan would sell it... it defies the aspects of xmodding... the body is only one piece, and there are no body customizations for it, such as bumpers, spoilers, hoods, ect... and besides... why would a Jap/American company use a line European cars... if you look a the logics... the BMW doesnt make sense... i mean sure they would sell... but most of todays modders are into domestics, japanese imports, and trucks... *notice* most of the custom 1/28th models are usually American or Jap and plus thats a Team Losi body... theres a place right down the street that sells the same body...

I really dont think that this is a legit (xmod branded) body. In other words, it wont be sold in Radio Shack. I dont see them selling a lexan body at all (if they done that, wouldnt they offer more aluminum upgrades than just a set of wheels)? I looked on xmodsinternational.com and I noticed that the BMW body was the only body that was not pictured with an "official" xmods body clip with it; wouldnt they have included it as well in the pic if it was going to be an RS product? I believe the reason why they are carrying it and hyping it so much is due to the fact that the BMW and whole Euro tuner scene is so large and there isnt a European (especially BMW) body out in the xmods body line-up yet (other than the SLR); therefore they see it as a possable major selling point. I will be shocked as hell if this does make it on RS shelves and I will definately purchase one (if not both) if that is the case. Just my two cents.
