Not a lot was really done.

They started with a 67 C20 or C30 I assume (by the lug pattern), ripped off the bed and put in the flat bed. Cowl hood is the only change to the body, and in the interior it had some racing buckets, a billit gauge cluster and glove box door, grant wheel.. The front wheels are 18 wheeler spec wheels, and the rear are the 18 wheeler spec wide rear tires, takes place of the duallie ties with one single large tire. Looks like a light lift to fit the large tires. A 502 Big Block Chevy was tossed in, and it ran a TH400 auto. The rear axle is a GM axle, 10 or 12 bolt. They say a custom ladder bar setup was used, but probably just tossed in some tubular trailing arms in place of the stock ones. All in all, including the cost of the original truck, probably spent 5-7k on it, not including labor. These trucks are cheap to build and they didn't do a ton of work to it.

That's on par with movies though.
They had 2 GNX and 4 GN, all for the opening oil theft scene.

There were 8 F-Bomb Replicas, and of course the original was not featured.

Whatever happened to the red GT-R the cop picked out to race?
All he ever drove was the blue Skyline...

edit- and whatever someone said makes sense.
Tokyo Drift could have happened in the middle of the time of F&F4.
Like:
Han leaves for Tokyo (F&F4), then the whole Tokyo Drift movie, Torreto shows up at the end, then the rest of F&F4, resulting in a demolished Plymouth.

I think it was a pretty good movie. waaaay better than Tokyo Drift. I think this should've been the 3rd movie, and Tokyo Drift shouldn't have been a F&F movie. It was good, but didn't live up to it's "F&F" name...

I thought the one in the very end was a plymouth roadrunner that was dressed up as a GTX?

2 Fast actually had plot, so my order of best to worst now goes: 1,4,2,3.

I liked 4- they did a good job at filling the gap of Han-Dom times up to Tokyo Drift. Also why Brian and Dom fled to Japan afterwards. Funniest thing to me is that the now old game was very solid as far as afterstory went and this movie fit right in without messing up a single thing.

You should move to Texas, the state with the most drive-ins in the USA.

I've got a drive in right here in town, obviously only open during the summer..

Rumor has it they might not open this summer. Seems enough people don't go to the drive in anymore.

Was going to see the movie this weekend, but went to Oklahoma and the nearest theaters didn't even have it playing. What a shame.

I could go see it at the matinee today, but the g/f has to work.

Ohh, that makes sense.

Brian and Dom fled to Japan?
At the end, Don is on his way to jail, and Brian and the others are obviously going to get him out of the bus.
It makes sense that Dom goes to Japan, but was Brian there?
I don't remember...

And if it wasn't said before, the car at the end of Tokyo Drift is a Roadrunner.

Epic flaw?

This is the Road Runner from Tokyo Drift: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_44208-P...nner-1970.html

IMCDB hasn't been finished for FnF4, so Letty's car isn't in there: http://www.imcdb.org/movie_1013752-F...d-Furious.html
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_177301-...rger-1970.html
That's Letty's right?

The car at the end of Tokyo Drift as far as I know is a Plymouth GTX guys. If I remember right it clearly shows the GTX badge in one of the shots.

Friend has my copy right now, I might have to pop it in and look when I get it back but I am 100% certain it says GTX.

Edit: Looks like according to some information, it's a 70 Satellite that was built into a GTX clone for a SEMA show, the car is nicknamed "Hammer" for some reason.

Edit again: This should settle the whole argument.

People, stop posting spoilers about the movie, as to who kills who and etc.

3-4 posts have been deleted
