I want a hobby grade which one?
i hear that xmods arent exactly hobby grade, but i do want to get into racing hobby grade rc's i've been looking around, i was looking at hpi's streets and drifts or w/e thier called and fell in love with them, but of course on this site i always hear about how wonderful mini-z's are. I'd like some help with this and any other suggestions are welcome i just cant spend $500 on an rc car right now

Get a Associated RC18T. They are the best! don't get anything but the RPM wide front bumper. It's plenty fast right out of the box. I have one with a mamba 8000 brushless system. my car is worth maybe $250 and goes around 40 MPH!

yeah, get the rc18t. it won the mini truck shootout in rc mini action magazine. my friend wons 1 and it beats my Pro Pulse in races(mostly, only dragraces tho..). Pro Pulse has better acceleration. rc18t has better speed(barely). im thinking about hooking up some rc18 parts in my PP
