Is that Xmods Subaru Impreza? realdrive alternative bodys

Well the body is. Just needs a rear clip.

Anyone knows something about this or other rc's that has been using same bodies as Xmods?

I already got one but its for my Rally Subaru-project.

Just need that one to get stock one.

I noticed something different in that body too.
In first pic those mirrors are blue. My current Subaru has black mirrors so whats going on?
And in that second pic that front bumper didnt seem right. I mean it looks like a regular Subaru front bumper, but what are those two screws behind those fog light covers? I dont have those in my stock Subaru front bumper.

EDIT: Even that hood is different. It doesnt have screws to remove that scoop. Also the license plate looks different too when compared to my Subie.

the body you have now is the mild body kit. the stock front bumper has the removable fog light covers. I dont know about the side mirrors though, cause my subaru mirrors are blue. Did you buy yours new or used?

I think those are called "real drive time" rc, there are the same company with xmods. they are just cheaper, because they dont have any upgrades.... i guess.

I was thinking about getting one for myself, when they had the red evo lancer.

And I know that there is atleast two bodykit-sets one sold in USA and other sold in UK that were different. Maybe its same thing with bodies too?


It seems that Realdrive also has some black Skylines and newer silver one and silver Supras too. Not sure what else there is.

yes, they are xmod bodies, but the chassis is "realdrive" rc. and nope, the paint is straight from the factory.

there are 2 different types of blue xmod subarus, the us ones and the uk ones. the mirrors are different, rear spoiler, and i believe the hood is different between the 2. i would have to go look at them again to be 100% on that though.

blue subarus were never really "rare" they were just in higher demand than other xmod bodies. its not very hard to get you hands on a blue subarus as maybe say a HPI subaru, or SLR body.

i see so many red supras blu/black civics g35s f150s and many others but never and 350z lancer subbies white supras and hummers and there are most of these cars being sold as realdrive rc cars and we can now get xmod bodies for cheap

there are many others that where not originaly xmod bodies but i dont know if the have the same mounts and such

there has actually been a lot of talk about the real drives in the past and there is a few members on here who own the real drives. xmodcanuck has the realdrive dodge ram, and there has been others but i guess for those who dont know, i'll sticky it and change the title

I found out some time ago that the reason why RealDrives are basically Xmods bodies is because the inventor of Xmods owns the company that sells RealDrives.

Xmodscanuck's Ram isn't a realdrive, its a Custom Rydz that was sold in Canada. I think it was one of the upgrade kits or something.

I'm pretty sure b1g has an Evo RealDrive, and I believe Chris from XMF had one at some point.

Nice! Love Subarus, MUST GET MOAR bodies! Lol.

Would anyone happen to know how these 'RealDrive' chassis are? Based on the looks of things, doesn't seem to be better than XMODS (even Gen1). Looks like typical cheap Chinese RC electronics.

They most likely are cheap and not really good to drive.

I try this out when it arrives, but I will probably keep that chassis only for show.
