Alkaline Trio?! Boy does that bring back memories of Tony Hawk: Underground!
Sounds like it'll be a good concert. Have fun!

Sweet!
They were on the Warp Tour, but they dropped it down here.... I saw Linkin Park (sick), Atreyu (Mosh!), and Armor for Sleep (shouldn't be allowed to sign).. Let's see about RA... Alkaline Trio is cool too... EDIT: Just looked it up. THEY'RE PLAYING ACROSS THE STREET FROM MY SCHOOL!!!!!!! Well, almost. They're playing about a block down the street from my school, smack dab in the Hood. That's funny. It's on a Thursday for me, but, I'll go anyways. Screw school...

I know they played the fallowing for sure:
Prayer of the Refuge (last) Ready to Fall Life Less Frightening Re-Education through Labor Give It All The played a few songs in acoustic, like five new songs, some songs from thier first album and those songs up there. In the rain. They started out and it was drizzling, half way through the rain is coming down sideways.. Last song they played was "Prayer of the Refuge". Everyone was jumping and singing and they had a mosh pit going up front. Greatest song they played, everyone was really into it. Band played like it was the end of the world. At this point, it was POURING rain, straight down, so we were all soaked all the way through. Even my belt was soaked with water. Hair Spray washed out of my mohawk (tastes like ***, btw), and it was just sick. Song was an extended version, they're just playing for the sake of play, band is all wet from the rain. When they finally end the song, everyone (half the place was wasted..) pours out, and just run through the neighborhood in the rain. I drove 40miles home, wet. That sucked. My seats in my car are still wet this morning, and it's still raining... Gas Lamp Whatever was okay. Not my style, a bit soft for the girl's taste (she's a metalhead). One guy was wearing like a Ref's shirt and playing soft and he looked like he was straight out of slipknot just jumping around. Other guitarist was like mellow, and super-emo-looking. Singer/Drummer were like "Eh.."... Thrice didn't play that song that goes like "We are the lost and we are found... We are the image of the invisible.." which was a big suck, they coulda been alot better. Never paid much attention to them, but it was okay. Alkaline Trio is pretty good live. They should have played thier "The Metro" cover, cuase it's a **** good song. Maybe the guitar work was a bit too much for them. They didn't miss a note/beat though, and "Someone help me(?)" was a pretty good song... Was it worth the $45 a ticket I spent? The last five minutes of Rise Against would have been worth the $45. The lead singer even said it was nice to *finally* play outside again, and later on when it's pouring he's talking about they always play better in the live and it's the best shows. EDIT: Last song -- Prayer of the Refuge Check the rain that's coming down.
